Some parts were interesting, others not so much.

The chapter on ‘Never Kill A Spider’ I’m pretty much screwed! Haha.

Funny to read, but the Historian in me want sources, not something one person has read and then re-told. And it shows with some of the historical mistakes she makes, which also shows that the author only read one or two books about the subject. These mistakes wouldn't be there if the author had read a little bit more.
But putting that aside it is an interesting book.

I have had this book for years, and finally decided it was time to become educated on all of the superstitions.
This book is a collection of superstitions. It explains what the superstitions are and highlights where they originated from.
I really enjoyed this book. It is formatted in a really easy to read and digest manner. Each superstition gets about one page, and is presented in a highly informative, but terse way.
Some superstitions are still very prevalent today, while some have died out over time, but those older ones were my favorite. I think it rather fascinating to explore what people feared hundreds of years ago, and the conclusions that they drew in their attempt to explain things around them.
