I really struggled with the second half of this series. While I thought the story was cute overall, the fan-service felt so gratuitous especially during the second half and it just made me feel uncomfortable as an adult reader. It put me off from a story I would otherwise have thought was a cute exploration of young people discovering their sexuality.

This is so cute! Completely addicting. I liked the second volume a lot more than the first--there's less internalized homophobia in this, I think.

So much happens in this volume! By the end it's hard to believe that they weren't even together at the beginning! I'm glad that their misunderstandings were far more short-lived when they became a couple, because while that's sort of a staple in romance, eventually you need to see them communicate! I was pleasantly surprised by this series. I liked that it was a bit more grounded in the real world than most yuri manga I've read. Reading it as an adult, I worried a bit about Mari's college choice, but since it's a book I'm sure it will all work out for her! I would have been happy if we could see a bit more of their future together, maybe where they get to tell their friends and family about their relationship, but still, I did like the ending as it was.

Honestly, this was just as cute and heartwarming as the first omnibus volume. I'm really glad I gave this a shot, it's just very sweet and innocent in its own way.

Liked part 2 more than the first, more of the same from the first collection but this one had a few surprises.

the miscommunication in this volume was mighty tough to bite through, even though
they got there in the end
. i enjoyed it, but i definitely disagree that this is completely lighthearted; there's moments where it's incredibly tense and reading becomes painful ahaha
