every time i read this book i understand andrew more.
also his and neil’s conversations,,,, superior.
- “you are a pipe dream”
- “i’m self destructive not stupid”
- “you’re not actually a sociopath are you?”
- “now are you having fun?” *referring to someone getting injured/fighting* “that part was vaguely interesting”
- “you’re crazy” “this is news to no one”
- and so much more !!!!

Neil had been doing one stupid thing after another all year long and this has turned into one of the best years of his life.

It’s honestly a very nice ending for the trilogy. The characters arcs wrap up nicely, both individually and as a team.
The last game was insane, it wasn’t as descriptive as the first games were, but holy cow.
Riko almost murdering Neil on national tv was wild. As well as Ichirou’s resolution to everything 😳 that man is scary as hell, as in, true fear, not only rivalry like with Riko.

The development that the team goes through -Kevin specially- and their relationships are chefs kiss. I need another book just with the Foxes existing đŸ„ș their friendship is amazing and it’ll give me serotonin for like half a year đŸ„ș❀
Neil and Andrew’s relationship would have been a massive surprise if it weren’t hinted in the description of the book 🙃😂 it was nice tho. Not really developed -romantically speaking- but it was rather inevitable, and very sweet

Neil’s sexuality could have been more explored tho đŸ„ș I would have loved a confirmation of him being demisexual, it would have been awesome. It’ll stay as a headcannon in my head đŸ„ș
Dang, I almost forgot about Neil’s dad 😬😬 and his right hand, she’s scarier than his dad even Dx that storyline also felt a bit rushed? Like it was over in a second. Granted, it was intense and probably for Neil wasn’t a second, but it wasn’t as trascendental as others storylines

10/10, would recommend it to everyone.

As this isn’t the first in the AFTG series, you probably don’t need this but its still important.
