This was just wonderful. [b:Socially Orcward|56607613|Socially Orcward (Adventures in Aguillon #3)|Lisa Henry|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1610229052l/56607613._SY75_.jpg|88436149] was a sweet, adorable, and fun story about two kind souls who just want to find someone to share their life and passion for dragons with. Simon and Dave were ridiculously cute, they might as well have been a couple of puppies. Non stop good vibes that made me feel warm and toasty just by reading it. Great addition to the series' it was thoroughly enjoyed.

I'm in love with this series and I wish it wasn't over. The rep is fantastic, spot on ace rep, and seeing the characters from books 1 and 2 and knowing their stories didn't immediately end when the book did was so much fun

This book is so cute!! Dave was already a favorite and I was excited to read his own story, and it is all I was waiting for (and more!!) Dave and Simon's relationship is so pure and gracious that it made me almost cry tears of joy. A favorite.

This is a bit more mellow story than the earlier two, probably because the main characters aren't sociopaths. Both are kind and sweet, and a lot of the humour is built on Dave taking things literally. Everybody loves Dave though, so it's never mean. I liked the interactions with characters from book one, and even Scott managed to be not-insufferable.

I admit I might have hoped for some steamy orc smut, but these two ace boys are perfect as they are. Very cute romance, and while Dave and Simon are just the sweetest, the dragons are fricking adorable. Pie and Bobo, ahhh! To die for. And the ending was so lovely I decided to score this higher than the first book, which I consider the funniest of the bunch.

My absolute favourite. I laughed.
I cried. I cheered.
An asexual orc. A human who isn't quite what he seems. And dragons.
Not to mention bad men, travelling players, more dragons, and a daring rescue.

Loved it.

This has to be the cutest, silliest book ever, David the Orc is the kindest, nicest character I have ever met, I just want to protect at all costs, Simon was nice too, and the story made laugh and cry, I highly recommend it if you’re looking for something to make you happy.

I actually laughed out loud reading this, several times. Well done. And it’s cute and wholesome and clever and just all-around enjoyable, made even better by the very excellent audiobook.

I LOVE DAVE. DAVE THE ORC. He's so genuine and honest. He does not know how to be anything but himself and there isn't an ounce of malice, deceit, or greed in his heart. He may not have more than three brain cells to rub together and only sorta understands what's going on at any given time but he's kind, empathetic, and caring.

Simon was a good fit for him. I reallllly loved the asexual representation in this book and the development of their relationship and realizing their feelings was so cute and sweet. Even though I could tell exactly where the book was going, I loved every sweet second of it and I got teary-eyed at the cuteness overload at the end.

If that's not enough to make you want to read, this book also has the most dragons! Multiple kinds of dragons! Dragon hatching! Dragon flying! Tiny finger sized dragons and cat sized dragons and big ass dragons! And a song about a dragon!

The character Millie was a great side character introduced to the series but I wish there was more done with her. I'm not sure if that means meeting her earlier in the series somehow or more likely having more of her in this book, but it felt like she was kind of an afterthought. Her character's background and the way she's adopted by the castle is fantastic but I wish it had been developed a bit more gradually or we got to see her interacting with the princes. Maybe if she had been introduced here and then the prince stuff comes into play more in a later book? Although the series seems completed so I guess that wasn't an option and everything was a bit rushed with her as a result.

Can you die from a cuteness overload? Because I need life support right now.

If you know me at all, you know I love weird and adorable things and This! Was! Adorable!
An asexual, extremely literal Orc named Dave, who blushes purple and fosters baby dragons, finds his soul mate and best friend in Simon, a sweet human in a bit of a predicament. This misunderstood Orc, who maybe lacks book-smarts, proves his worth and rescues his person by trusting his instincts (he calls them stinks), riding dragons and smashing heads. This was funny, cute and unexpectedly heartwarming. It reads like a fairytale and is slightly childish but that just ads to its charm. However lots of sexual euphemisms and innuendo - so not for kids.
Very easy listen, nicely narrated, and a fun way to spend an afternoon.
