It was to heavy of a topic for the mental health state I am currently in. It discusses female rage, shame, poverty, and motherhood. I would like to return to this when I am in a mood for something like this

Magical. Powerful. Both life changing and life affirming.

You am not sure how to rate this book. I admire it, didn’t get some of it, and it challenged me in a good way. The violence was difficult to read. Feminist, different and proud. A slower read for me. I liked the reading list at the end of the book.
