Let me preface this by saying I enjoy books by Douglas Preston. Riptide is a fun summer read, that will leave you guessing as to what exactly is St. Michael's Sword. Slow at times, but still enjoyed the concept and read. Gave it 3 stars for the parts that I found slow.
