Not as good as the first but the end really made up for it. Alice and Jasper are by far the best characters and I read it in one sitting of five and a half hours. Alice and Jasper were really worth dealing with a whole book worth of Jacob.

I enjoy this book for the same reason that others dislike it - because nothing really happens.
I love reading about the lazy days with Jacob, how ordinary life is. I’m not sure if it’s because of what’s currently going on in the world, but it’s nice to read about a borderline normal life at points.
I fell in love with Jacob at the same times that Bella did. It physically pained me when she had to make her choices. And to me she made the wrong ones!
Of course, all of the action happens in the last few chapters of the book, and will be enough for most to make up for the slow burn.

The worst out of the series for me.
I remember the first time I read it (and didn't know how this series would end) and I quickly checked the cover of the next book if it had Edward in it as, if it had been about jacob, I would have ended reading it all together.
No matter how often I reread these books, I honestly can not stand the guy. Think it gets worse each time I read them

This book just left me wanting more! I was super pissed at Edward leaving Bella (although I knew he was going to come back), but I’m glad that he did come back. It was nice seeing development in Bella’s and Jacob’s relationship - even though I’m definitely Team Edward. Kind of wish the climax of the book wasn’t so short in comparison to all the build up, but that seems to be common in a lot of more fantasy-esque books. Overall, I’m super happy with the series so far.

This is my first time reading this series and it is pretty good. My only real complaint is how much I hate the characters. The plot is good, but the characters are very easy to hate. I will be finishing this series, and I hope the plot continues to be okay.
