Very twisty, I didn't see a lot of it coming and I couldn't put it down. Maybe not the best mystery or extremely well written, as I wouldn't know - I was having too much fun reading it. I really didn't expect
Spoiler Abby to be related to one of the Frat 4 for at all! Although Celeste was shady and the town.

This is my first Megan Miranda book, and I loved it. Not the typical fast-paced thriller or crime novel that I often read, it reminded me of Barbara Erskine’s writing, with the use of nature writing and descriptions of place and time. It kept me hooked though, with just enough mystery and tension, and most of the reveals and twists were not ones I saw coming. I can’t wait to read more by the author. The only thing it lacked, which may be due to the setting, was some diversity in the characters.

The book was okay. The "character development" was more revealed about the character. There were many unanswered questions about Georgia at the end, even though the disappearances were mostly wrapped in a neat little bow, which felt underwhelming.  The narration was good though.

I love Megan Miranda! Her books are quick to get through but so juicy and fun. I love solving the mystery at hand and figuring out who did what. This book was especially fun because everyone had secrets and nothing was what you expected. I did figure out a killer but I was blindsided by another! Defiantly a good suspense read.

A solid listen for sure! My interest was pretty much sustained the whole way through. Ultimately, it all got a little messy and confusing, at least for me, and I was a left with a handful of: "Wait, so what happened here?" questions.
