Okay so, few things that bothered me about this one.

First and foremost, I think it plays too much into stereotypical roles: the nerd and the jock.

Then, while I knew this was a short book, it all happens too fast. They go from zero to ten in a matter of conversation. One interaction to make them enemies, one conversation for them to realize that there's more than meets the eye and oh, am I falling for him?

Everything in their relationship was handle too quickly coming across as underdeveloped. The plot line that was supposed to be the climax and serve angst? It lasts one second. He says sorry and chooses that moment to confess his feelings and of course she forgets everything and falls to his feet.

I also thought that more could be said about their respective backgrounds. Him with an abusive, alcoholic father and her with a mother who's codependent to men and doesn't know how to be on her own. But they are only used as a way for them to say: "oh, so he/she is the way because of this." But it gets resolved it 0.5 seconds.

A bit disappointed cause it had a good premise.
