This was so good!! I'm a big Stephen King fan and this has gotta be my favorite (so far).
The beginning was slow but after 100 pages, the story speeds up and I was hooked.

The only Stephen King book I’ve ever read. Some passages were truly gripping. Others were clumsy and dated. There’s a lot of era-typical misogyny and racism in this. Found myself particularly fascinated by the airport scenes & other 80s references. The extended wizard of Oz symbolism was interesting too.

Not really scary, it's more sad, with its scary elements being more interesting and eerie than horror. I don't think that was a bad thing with this book though.

I really enjoyed this book. Definitely in the top three of the King books I’ve read. The audiobook was TOP Notch, Micheal C Hall performed. I wish he could read every horror book I read. The story, I knew from childhood (from seeing the movie) but I was left with questions….the rating is actually a 4.5 due to that but I’ll round up…This time. 😂 I do recommend this and it’s worth the hype tho.
