Disini terungkap kemana Dad pergi (walau kita semua pastinya sdh punya dugaan kemana nya) & alasannya Dad pergi. Tadinya ak sebel sama Mum yg move on dgn Roger, disini justru jadi sebel sama Dad karena alasan Dad pergi.

A simple, captivating tale, beautifully written in wonderfully plain English. I read this in isolation of the others in the series, which is aimed at children and became totally engrossed in the world of Sapphire, the main character, caught between two worlds. Marvellous!

This was good in the same way that Ingo was. I enjoyed reading it, especially becasue I hadn't read any quick reads in a while. Since I read The Deep first, I read The Tide Knot with that in mind, trying to realize how everything fits together. Reading this makes me want to go back to the beach; it's been so long since I have!

Magical. It's really the best word to describe these series. Not in a Dungeons and Dragons fantasy novel kind of way, but in the magic of childhood. The same sort of magic that transported the kids through an old wardrobe into Narnia. This book doesn't have much in the way of magic, persay. But the world Dunmore creates IS magical. Consistent. Beautiful. Enticing. Menacing. So many feelings all at once. It is easy to love Faro...and yet just as easy to doubt him, to be suspicious of him. I like that no one in the book is a cookie cutter character. Everyone has a little depth to them, even Sapphy's terrified-of-the-ocean mother. We even get to learn more about Sapphy and Conor's dad. Granny Carne, the most magical character in the books, in the traditional idea of magic, got more time in this book, and we got to meet her underwater equal. It was interesting to meet Saldowr and the whale and Rainbow and the woman on crutches and everyone else in this book. I have no idea where Dunham is taking the series. Sapphire is so completely a melding of her two worlds that it is difficult to imagine her being fully happy in either of them. And while Conor can convince himself he's fully happy staying on Earth, it's unclear if he will want to, when Elvira is under the ocean. And the happiness of Sadie, and of Sapphy's mum, and therefore of Roger, all hangs in that balance as well.
I can't wait to get the next book in the series and see what else can happen in the mesmerizing world of Ingo.

Not as good like the first book, but still great.
