AMAZING READ!! From the first chapter you are pulled into the story and you want more. I needed to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next. Dirty Deeds by HelenKay Dimon is a great book, with a good plot, plenty of suspense and smexiness, and everything else thrown in. The book was well written, the characters completely developed, and there were enough twists that made it different from other similar books I've read.

This book is a must read. If you like suspense, espionage, and steamy mm romance, then you need to one click this book today! 5 stars. I couldn't put it down. In fact, I can't wait for the next book in the series. I absolutely loved it.

Hmm, I never quite understood the basic setup for this book. What exactly was Gaige doing at Alec's company? The seed bank plot was interesting but the insta-lust/love between the two characters just wasn't believable to me. Also, didn't like that Seth (from the previous book) was such an asshole in this book.

honestly the plot was boring and just...uninspired? the characters were sort of 2-dimensional & the romance really wasn’t believable—neither was the relationship btwn gaige & alec. i should’ve stopped reading after chapter 3 but—i’m stubborn

Although this book was slow to start, this enemies to lovers story picks up near the halfway point and kicks it into high gear.

Gaige is a computer expert (read: hacker) who has been reluctantly brought in by an interested party to investigate a possible security breach of Alec’s million dollar seed vault business. While neither Gaige or Alec are on board with this arrangement, Alec decides the only way to make sure Gaige isn’t selling company secrets is to keep him as close as possible, going so far as to install Gaige in his own home. Naturally, sparks fly despite the fact that neither man trusts the other. But when it looks as though someone wants to keep them from discovering the truth, they’ll have to rely on one another to prevent a global crisis from occurring.

The best part of the first half of this book was learning about seed vaults, which I knew absolutely nothing about but apparently do exist. But the story does take a little time to get going and feels just a bit dry. When the action starts, though, it begins to take off and becomes infinitely more enjoyable.

While a few of the characters here are from the authors Tough Love series (including Seth, a snotty, arsehole of a CIA agent), this can definitely be read as a standalone. There were a few instances where I felt like I was missing a piece of the story – specifically how Gaige ended up having to work with Alec – but it didn’t impact my overall enjoyment. Mostly, it just made me want to go and read Guarding Mr. Fine.

Despite the strong second-half, though, I’m giving this a 3.5 star rating for the rather uninspired beginning. If you can make it through that, you’ll find that this ends up being a rather good book.

I received an advanced copy of this novel in exchange for a fair and honest review

I kept picking this up, reading for a few paragraphs, and then putting it down again. I did this so many times that I started questioning why I was still reading it, so I eventually just stopped for good. It's not that there is anything wrong with the plot or characters, it just failed to hook me in. I kept getting bored. Maybe I'll come back and finish it someday, or maybe I won't bother.

Loads or twists and turns, great strong characters and hot as hell sex scenes makes this a fabulous book. Alec and Gaige are two men that have troubled pasts dealing with lies, deception, espionage, hostel takeovers and family drama. They are thrown together to help the CIA deal with an international issue and the sparks fly. You will not believe the ending until you read it. This was an awesome book and I highly recommend it.

I just finished Dirty Deeds. I got a copy from NetGalley for an honest review.

I loved Gaige right away. A smartass who knows his way around a computer being put in a bad position being used by the CIA for some dirty deeds. Alec is the ice king. Stone cold. Doesn't trust anyone.

The supporting characters are just as well portrayed as the leading men. I wanted to know them better.

There is a mystery to solve. Alec and Gaige are two of the same kind of men. The difference is Alec holds things close to his vest and Gaige is trying to live his life in spite of some obstacles. They have to learn to trust each other and neither gives that away freely.

The love story was wonderful and the added suspense just made it all the better. It had a bit of everything. Humor, action, and love. I would recommend this book to everyone.

Gaige is not quite sure how he gets himself into these situations but the gorgeous man who caught him breaking in to the secure server room makes this escapade much more enjoyable. Alec is not at all happy with the circumstances that brought Gaige into his life but he cannot deny that he is gorgeous. But no amount of mistrust or anger can stop the sexual tension, so they don't let it. Gaige needs to complete his mission but because Alec won't let him out of his sight, his tasks become that much harder. This constant surveillance means that Gaige is going home with Alec and that's where the fun begins. Can these two who never thought that a long term relationship was worth it know what to do when their feelings grow stronger? Really great read with two sexy men not quite sure what to do with their feelings. Loved the intrigue, can't wait to continue the series!

Dirty Deeds focused on Alec and Gaige who were both connected the the CIA in a way. Alec runs a international food company and Gaige is a hacker, cyber security buff who is being stationed at Alec's business to help the CIA with security and a seed vault that has been compromised. The chemistry between Alec and Gaige is there from the moment they meet and it quickly escalates into something more.

I found this to be a quick an easy read filled with steamy moments between Alec and Gaige. My only problem was the whole CIA mission and seed vault security plot line seemed a little far fetched, but it did allow for a fast paced action filled end.

Dirty Deeds is a spin off from HelenKay Dimons Tough Love Series and features Alec Drummond. Who first appeared in Guarding Mr Fine. Although you don't need to read that book to enjoy this one, and I did enjoy it.

Although it got off to a slow start especially during the first half. But the second half really picked up and grabbed my attention much more. Even though there wasn't as much suspense as I was anticipating. Yet there was still enough to keep me intrigued until the end, and I literally had no idea who was behind everything until it was revealed. Also those couple of chapters where the revelations took place. Had me on the edge of my seat and were very enjoyable to read.

I would therefore recommend Dirty Deeds to others. Especially if you are a fan of the author or have read and enjoyed the Tough Love Series.
