Definitely enjoyed the book more than I did reading it for the first time a few years ago. The story was exciting and I kind of craved reading a few chapters every night. I can see some patterns also happening in the first book (dreading summer holidays, slow buildup) and it starts to feel familiar. Can’t wait to read about Harry’s next adventure.

"When in doubt, go to the library."

I'm having a much better time watching the films and reading these books than I expected, I'm not sure if any are going to blow me away, but that's okay and I think I'm preferring the films over the books at the moment although the stories are pretty identical to each other which I appreciate.

Chambers of Secrets is definitely better than Philosopher's Stone, but PS was a great introduction, so that's okay.
