After a while all the stories began to blur into one but there were some absolute gems in there, especially the L.M. Montgomery stories.

I found the tone of these stories, especially the ones by Louisa May Alcott and L.M. Montgomery to be condescending and following a similar theme. Ultimately they felt very classist to me, and I just wasn't able to enjoy them.
