i usually steer clear of books with hot guys with abs on the cover, but oh my god this book was so good. it had smut, it had plot, it had a happy ending! this book can be read as a standalone but can also be counted as a part of a series where the plot carried over into the next book. i really loved Ciara and Jakob. Ciara is a badass that takes no shit from anyone and looks hot while doing it! Jakob is a hot, possessive dragon who can control the earth element. I loved the fact that Jakob was willing to let Ciara go if that is really what she wanted and took an effort to fight his instincts to lock her away in his lair and never let her out again. this book was seriously so funny and i loved the dynamic between the two. they both had funny little sayings like “f*ck a duck.” ITS ALSO DUAL POV. i am a sucker for dual pov. there would be a moment when in her inner monologue, Ciara would be really insecure about the way she looked or something like that and then in the next chapter Jakob was like “oh my f*cking god that’s the hottest thing i’ve ever seen.” i was WEAK. also the hotel scene there at the end? f*ck. this book would have been five stars if not for a few spelling and grammatical errors. seriously, so good!

Loved it
Absolutely loved this book and the characters. This story has steam, fluff, romance, action and lots of laughter. It has you laughing and sitting on the edge of your seat unable to put it down throughout. Definitely going to get the next one.

Maybe it's me but I'm not feeling this book. I'm not sympathizing with the fmc and general don't really like the mmc or fmc. The chapter arrangement is weird to say the least. The writing confusing af. Maybe othe books of the series or the author are better but this just s not it. Stopped at the ending of chapter 7. Never Stopped that early but I just can't.
