So I got this today for Christmas, and I’m a massive fan of the whole last of us franchise, and this book was the perfect touch for any last of us fans.

3.5 stars. Not a bad little comic. I just wish there was more to this story. It felt a little lackluster compared to the experience the game gives you, but it still was good for what it is: a small snippet into the life of Ellie before we meet her in The Last of Us. I do hope they decide to make more comics for this franchise sometime in the future.

I enjoyed this! Highly recommend.

The part where, when she’s alone, Ellie practices repeating an intimidating phrase she heard Riley using the first time she met her…..devastatingly endearing.

This was a reread since I have been watching The Last of Us every week. I didn't exactly remember what had happened in this issue but I definitely want more. I'm not really sure why the story or Riley and Ellie was never expanded more than just this singular graphic novel but it would be nice to have more stories.

I'm kind if disappointed in the way this small series went, it was too short with not enough detail for a prequel. I still barely know what Ellie's life was all about but I will admit it did make me want to play the game again.
