Another good installment. I enjoy these books for their own sake. Fun, easy reads!

Meh

I want to like this series but the protagonist is unlikable. He's a "victim" but it's hard to pity or even like him. It's frustrating at times because these books can be interesting but the main character is hard to root for at times

Was a good book. Pretty sure I have read a Scot Harvath book before. Not haveing read all the previous books could have detracted from this book. There were quite a few back references. But still interesting.

Now I just found this paperback for 99 cents at a Goodwill in CT and when I read the back cover, I knew that this book was going to be a thrill - and it didn't disappoint! I was intrigued by the main character, Harvath's role in the U.S. government. The story just took you in; made you feel like you were part of the action. The best part of this book though is that it could definitely happen today. In the words of James Rollins in the New York Times, "Brad Thor writes thrillers plausible as they are terrifying." Nothing good be said better. The reason his books are so terrifying is the fact that they are plausible. What happens in this book could happen at any minute to the U.S. and that is what makes this such an intriguing read!

This was a pretty good book. The first one I have ready by Brad Thor and I enjoyed it. I guess I need to go back and read some of his earlier works also.
