This was a fine start to a big series. It was fun, but very monster of the week, and I’m looking forward to what this series could become.

well, good news is that I finally read a first volume of a series I don't really want to continue at the moment. Bad news is that I was hoping to enjoy it and own 2 volumes of this series, and yet it's the one I'm least hype about so far.

There was nothing wrong with this, I liked it. But I think this just might not really be my series. It was super action-heavy and that's noooooot really my thing. Or at the very least, in THIS context it's not really my thing. IDK, I just think this might be the series that's not really for me and OF COURSE it's the one I have physical copies of!! Of course!! lol

2022 is turning into the year where I just read through all the manga I've ever read, and never logged on Goodreads because it "didn't count".
And when you're reading through good manga you can't skip FMA, in my opinion. It's so, so good. Edwards is so funny, and I'd forgotten how sassy Alphonse is in the background.
