I am in LOVE with the Caraval world. I loved book #1. And I loved this one even more. I wish Scarlett and Julian were incorporated into the story more than they were, especially after how much I fell in love with them from book 1. But this book was entirely Tella’s story, and it was a great one! The Fates were so interesting, I selfishly wish we got to meet more of them…although it probably wouldn’t have been a positive experience for the characters in the book. The love story made my little heart happy, and I hope to see more of the pair in the next book. I’m excited to see where the last book will take me, but if it’s anything like the first 2, I already know I’m going to be in love.

Great storytelling. I think it was a personal thing of not liking Donatella that much because I found her assumptions about people and fearlessness being brave when really being scared and doing it anyway is braver, at least to me— kind of annoying. Also pairing sisters with brothers always kind of annoys me, anyway the story elements were cool and I liked seeing Jacks origins since I read the other series first.
