it's cute. nice setup for the dreamer trilogy. doesn't really matter because i won't be reading it, but anyway. i was mostly reading the series for bluegansey, so i'm sad they didn't make an appearance. overall, it was okay, nothing special.

Three stars and a half. I am not a big fan of short stories but I liked the story. I missed Ronan's world and all that. Opal was really a new level. I liked her then she annoyed me then I like her again.Just so good characters as usual. Final note, I just want to say it , Still the writing style is so good and lovable.

As a step between Gansey/Blue's tale with Raven Boys, and the new series that will focus on Ronan, this is the stepping stone to connecting them. While I appreciate that Maggie has told it from an outside perspective, that can twist it, show us the magic and the boys from outside of themselves -- I felt like this was a barely enough appetize and remain 'raven'ously impatient for the next novel.

Beautiful tiny story. Enjoy the boys being the boys, dealing with magic, Cabeswater, and being in love.

Maggie Stiefvater's writing is enchanting, that's the best way I can put it. I might not always know quite what's going on, but I always love it.

A tight little story with characters you love from The Raven Cycle :) I am very very biased because I have so much affection for Opal and LOVE LOVE LOVE Adam and Ronan 's relationship. I love the beautiful message of creation as a means to staying alive, it hits especially hard as an artist myself.

I am glad that Maggie wrote this novella.  I enjoyed parts of it, but I wouldn’t call it a good time like The Raven Cycle.
