This is my first book by the author. After reading through other reviews and taking the opinion of a friend, I’m surprised I enjoyed this book. I think the “dark” of the house is what intrigued me so much. I enjoy that it all comes together and I’ll admit that I didn’t guess the ending.

An interesting exploration in multiple first person pov narrative. The first half felt very slow and some of the “secrets” were telegraphed early on so suspense was taken out of those. 
Picked up in second half. Overall, a good read.

I loved reading this book so much! It was very untucking and all of the characters were so interesting, I always had to know more. The mystery is detailed and has lots of clues you can miss if you aren’t paying a lot of attention. If you like mystery and tense books this is definitely for you.
