Well ... if my long lost-presumed dead step-brother showed up on my doorstep claiming to love me and needing to mate with me immediately and then whisk me off to alien lands I don't know if I'd be as agreeable. But that wouldn't make for a decent short story now would it? :)

This is a very short book and the story crammed into these 48 pages too complex. Too much happened in the course of maybe one day! She thinks her stepbrother was killed in Afghanistan but there he is - SIX years later - and she just agrees to be his mate??!! The premise is okay, but the author wanted to tell too much in too few pages.

I enjoyed it but it felt so rushed.
