A solid read, definitely an honest take on power dynamics, molestation, survivor’s guilt, and institutionalize sexism.
It’s jarring throughout and definitely triggering.
I would recommend this to anyone who likes to read about women’s experiences, realistic fiction enthusiasts, and fans of Ann Patchett.

Spotty and filled with run-on sentences that empty the story. There are better novels that tackle similar issues.

I enjoyed her voice and writing style, but didn’t like the story and wouldn’t recommend it.

This book didn’t fulfilled what was setup in the beginning in my opinion. It feels kind of emotionless for a topic that is really sad and I think it is mainly because there weren’t any big developments with the narrator. It was a pretty fast read but it didn’t really make me feel things.
