THE DARKEST MINDS NEVER FADE IN THE AFTERLIGHT
AMÉ el primer libro de esta trilogía y sin duda siempre será de mis favoritos, pero el segundo libro me pareció sumamente decepcionante y, por más de que este tercer libro continúa en la dirección que tomó el segundo (la cual no me gusta en absoluto), esta conclusión me encantó. Empecé a llorar en el 70% del libro, y seguí llorando al menos una vez por capítulo hasta que terminé el libro. Y después de eso lloré un poquito más. No sé... No sabía que le tenía tanto cariño a estos libros, pero me encontré a mi misma lagrimeando y sufriendo y gritando con esta novela. Son demasiados sentimientos.

Los personajes están preciosamente construídos. Me encantó Ruby como una protagonista fuerte y una antiheroína de pies a cabeza. Me enamoré de todos los personajes secundarios y, bueno, puede que tenga sentimientos por Liam <3 Sólo un poco. ¡NO ME CULPEN! La escritura de Alex Bracken es fluida y realista, y la trama es de lo más original y atrapante. Este libro es de lo más atrapante que he leído en un buen rato. ME ENCANTÓ.
¿Qué no me gustó? Los capítulos fueron largos (ugh) y en momentos todo fue muy POCO REALISTA. Y esto de que los adolescentes salven el mundo me tiene MUY cansada. Nah. Fue muy poco creíble y no me gustó. Porque, si, esta trilogía no me parece ninguna obra maestra.
Pero me fascina. Le doy 4 estrellas y se las recomiendo muchísimo. Sobre todo si les gustan las distopías.

A lot of people said that this book was pretty slow and Ill have to agree with that. I was kind of annoyed with how long it dragged everything out but I still loved the book. :)

I HATE ALEXANDRA BRACKEN SO MUCH BUT I ALSO DONT. LETS START WITH THE FACT THAT I SWITCHED SHIPS A TOTAL OF FIVE TIMES DURING THIS BOOK. SECONDLY SHE KILLED MY FAVORITE CHARACTER LIKE WAT THE HECK. COLE IS MY BAE AND I SHIPED HIM WITH RUBY AND NOW LIKE BUH BYE SO YOU KNOW THAT MADE ME CRY MYSELF TO SLEEP. AND THEN LIKE I LOVE HER BECAUSE MY OTP, CHUBS AND VIDA, ARE TOGETHER LIKE YAY

I took a long while to finish this book in particular but it was well worth the break to come back and read the rest of the story full force and start reading The Darkest Legacy!

I really enjoyed it. It took me by surprise. I was not expecting the ending.
