I read when i was maybe elementary or middle school and enjoyed it. However as a grown adult who wanted to reread this nostalgic book, it was meh. I will reread this book another time.

Cleopatra’s father has gone into hiding because of an attempt on his life, so she has to navigate life with her sisters ruling Egypt as she dreams of being the queen.

I really like these diary novels of various people. But this one wasn't as good as others. The nod to Christianity was rather unnecessary and inaccurate. As well as Cleopatra being incredibly self absorbed at how perfect she was making this not very enjoyable for a diary entry in the series. A pity, as I do so enjoy Egypt and its history. One star rounded up for nostalgia.
