I must preface and say I am a fan of a good Robinhood re-telling. This is not exactly that, but it is with a twist. I adored the story, the pacing, and the fact that I will be meeting this author this summer made it all the better. That said, I really engaged with this story, Cate Archer is the strong heroine that we all love to read about, and Lord Owen Grey is the redeemed hero. This story comes in a under 200 pages, but I could have read at least 200 more. If you are a fan of historical romances, I would say you will get a happy face from this story.

I'm a sucker for Robin Hood retellings. This one was no different. I absolutely adored it. Fantastic read.

Eh, it was ok. This story has been told a million times in many fashions. Imagine a female Robin Hood mixed with a bit of Snow White and the huntsman and... voila! In other words, it was a nice story, but really unoriginal, and unfortunately not particularly uniquely executed in my opinion. All in all, really the best I can say about it is that it was ok and that the female lead was at least interestingly spunky.
