DNFed around 20%. I just couldn’t take more of the major’s self flagellation over his non-kinky kink. When the contents of the bag from the sex shop are revealed, I couldn’t have been more bored.

This is a contemporary erotic romance featuring military romance and erotica in the form of roleplaying in the bedroom. What makes this different from other erotica is the fact that it has a complex plot that makes the reader easily able to connect with the characters. It also deals with the emotions that can be involved in such a lifestyle choice. It was very enjoyable, and I look forward to the other books in the series!

The premise that kept the two primaries apart was thin at best, ridiculous at most. Anyone who thinks that role play fantasies are perverted is not the sort that reads romance novels, so I'm not sure who the audience is. The tension was lacking and the conclusion was weak. The characters were two-dimensional and as fascinating as the setting is in reality, Las Vegas was a bare-bones backdrop in the book. If you are titillated by role-play sex and don't require any real plot or character development... No, even then. There are better books.

"Major Ryan “Fang” Haverty divulged his inner most secrets only once, only to have them thrown in his face and left to carry the weight of it into every relationship he had tried since then."

Hot. Smoking hot. Few errors about uniforms that would only be noticed by someone familiar with the air force.

Super sexy with a lot of insight and heart.

I very much enjoyed this book. I’m not gonna lie. I’m a girl who loves a costume and this book has plenty of them. I loved how honest the characters felt. I enjoyed the banter and joy that permeated most of the book. It felt like reading about real people, nothing forced.
Also, it was super hot.
