This is such a sweet and short novella. It's also very sexy. I don't typically go for the instant connection or love at first sight type stories, but I really enjoyed this one. Their connection felt very natural and flowed greatly. It definitely didn't feel forced or trying too hard like I often feel these instant connections do. As it was a novella, it was super fast paced and I think this could have worked as either a longer novella or a full novel even. I would have loved to see the relationship grow throughout the year and beyond. Of course, the happily ever after was beautiful and made me cry. No surprise there. I love HEA and this one met my expectations. I also really enjoyed the writing, it was very well done. I just wish it was longer, more details and character development would have been amazing, but I know that as a novella there is only so much that can be included. So I still think it would have made a great novel.

Thank you BookSirens and Claire Marti for this advance review copy on exchange for my honest review.

This is a fun, cute, short Holiday set read. The holidays are a backdrop, but not a major player in the story. Despite this, the story contains holiday magic. Trent and Camille are strong, fun characters and I loved going on this journey with them. Their interactions on page are fun and had me turning the pages until the very end.

This book can be (I certainly did) read as a stand-alone as it doesn’t involve any of the characters from the rest of the series. One is mentioned, but never makes an appearance. I wish this story had been longer as I enjoyed these characters and their romance. The epilogue tied up the story nicely and was a full circle.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
