i had fun reading this. the stories go well together and many of them are interesting.
the sci-fi in this book feels older than it actually is because it’s more like fantasy and lacks imagining of any kind of social change for the future.

The chapter "June 2003: Way up in the Middle of the Air" contains a character using the n-word towards several black characters. While the character in question is clearly written as deplorable, the use of the slur can be very excessive.gracekatreads's review against another edition

The amount of filler stories that were in this book meant that, in my opinion, reading this book was very boring. Also, I know this is just a custom of the time Ray lived, but seeing women being described as addicted to men in a few short chapters really bothered me.
Otherwise the book didn't have bad morals, even if they were slightly distorted in the end.
