i had fun reading this. the stories go well together and many of them are interesting. 

the sci-fi in this book feels older than it actually is because it’s more like fantasy and lacks imagining of any kind of social change for the future.

A sci-fi story that feels like a collection of short tales, each delving into a different aspect of the human colonisation of Mars. I really enjoyed seeing the passing of time by looking at the planet through different characters' eyes. Some chapters definitely stood out from the rest, but it was overall an interesting read.

I have to admit that science fiction is not my thing, although I have enjoyed some sci-fi novels, but this one really isn't. It is the only work by Bradbury that I know, and I can understand that some like it but I didn't. 
The amount of filler stories that were in this book meant that, in my opinion, reading this book was very boring. Also, I know this is just a custom of the time Ray lived, but seeing women being described as addicted to men in a few short chapters really bothered me. 
Otherwise the book didn't have bad morals, even if they were slightly distorted in the end.
