He was constantly pushing her away. Got irritating after a while.

I loved this so much. The banter and chemistry between Thane and Astrid was incredible from the second they meet. This had me totally hooked!

OH WOW, Okay so this book surprised me so much! I loved these characters and their journey to love--they fought their demons and it was a sight to read about. I loved Thane and Astrid as characters because both their strengths and weaknesses spoke to one another and it made for such a wonderful romance.

The overall plot, was so interesting to me because of how feminist Astrid was--she knew what she wanted and did whatever she could to get it. She loved her sister to no end and when it extended to Thane, it was just so beautiful!!!

Thane, Thane, Thane, ohhhh you tortured soul. I loved him so much and I wanted him to have the world. It crushed me how he saw himself and I think Howard wrote his character and his inner thoughts amazingly. I felt his insecurities like they were my own, I felt his pain like it was my own. I needed this man to get his HEA because he NEEDED it.

The writing of this book was really, really great and I am so happy I picked this book up! I loved the humour as well. It was right up my alley--very dry and sarcastic and it had me ROLLING because of how funny it was! I. HAD. TO. CLOSE. MY. EREADER. TO. LAUGH. AND. TAKE. A. MOMENT.

SO GOOD! I recommend this book to anyone who wants a Beauty and the Beast retelling with amazing characters and some awesome humour! READ IT.
