I really enjoyed this book. A quick read that incorporated Yoemanettes of world war 1. Who runs the world? Women. I liked the mystery and storyline in this book. Strong female characters but also sad.

The Girls in Navy Blue is a moving tale that shows us the lifestyles, struggles, and daily intricacies involved in being a “yeomanette”, one of the first women honoured with the right to serve in the US Navy.

It's a story of an unlikely friendship and the tale of one young woman's difficult emotional and physical perseverance against a backdrop of war. Historical fiction lovers add this one to your TBR

A simple story that kept me reading. Good characters set within the challenges of WWI.

Very enjoyable historical fiction with a split timeline. Loved learning about the Yeomanettes of WWI.

This is one of the best books I've read in a long time. Had me crying at the end like a baby. I could not put this down.
