wow wow wow I was not expecting to be as into this book as I was. It was amazing! I loved seeing Beau’s character development and a whole new view of Maggie. And of course, more of Emerson and Charlie <3

Beau is my favorite guy in this whole series and I wonder what that says about me

no i don’t know what this says about me either and i really don’t want to look into it. this is so not my vibe but i just could not get enough of the kind of relationship beau & maggie had
i was like girl bfr when we went into this book and she was so adamant that vanilla was her style. that little quiz revealing that she was secretly a domme with everyone else agreeing because she needs control in life to be at peace just had me rolling around laughing. shawty was so unaware
i hated beau in the first book because of how severely he fucked up his relationship with char and how poorly he treated women. like zero effort absolute frat boy type relationship that is on the damn ground.
but life suddenly made so much more sense when he just needed some kind of obedience ?? lack of control ?? it was so clear that he hated having to make decisions or do the right/wrong thing. maggie gave him instructions and he was very happy to do them. to please her.
sure, the spice was different but good all the same. yet it was their relationship that i was really on the edge of my seat for !!
