Finally done this book! (I would've finished it sooner if it wasn't under some boxes lol) Totally get the hype behind it, I love Zayneb and Adam.

i. love. this. book. SO. much.

i love the fact that i can swoon over a fictional men who my mom would approve if he was real. i love that us muslim girls get a right representation because yes, we do think about guys; holding his hands, hugging him when he's sad even though we know we can't. i love how passionate zayneb is with all the things she did for justice. i love respectful adam is despite the fact that he wants zayneb so bad, and you don't understand how happy i am when adam said he's praying fajr outside (giggling and kicking my feet cs the other fictional men i know would never).

i love how zayneb is 'water' to adam because that's what she is; she's what made adam whole and being near her brings him life. ♡

One of my favourite reads this year not only is it one of the best muslim romances out there but it tackled lots of huge problems really well like islamophobia, multiple sclerosis and death of  loved ones. I related so much to Zayneb in many ways and I loved her her sense of not wanting to sit still and having to stand in front of the many injustices in this world. Loved the idea of the marvels and oddities I'll even make a journal myself and the author managed it so well along with the multiple povs. Also loved the family dynamics so much it made my heart warm. In conclusion this is an excellent book and I can't wait to read more of Adam and Zayneb.

This book does a great job of demonstrating what modern-day Muslims go through daily. I loved how there was always a positive for every negative, a great reminder of how we shouldn't dwell on everything that goes wrong in our life. The characters' dynamics together were really refreshing to me, it was nice seeing loving and caring families. An accurate representation of the characteristics Muslims aim to exhibit
