I thought this was cute. I laughed a lot. I would definitely read/listen to more by this author. I do love dark/serious books but sometimes you just need a funny PNR book.
Only thing that drove me a little bonkers was the FMC and MMC hated each other and barely tolerated each other for half the book. No flirting, no kissing, nothing. And then they just randomly sleep together, and I was like okayyyyy that escalated quickly.
I also wish there had been an epilogue to get a peek at their future, it just sort of ended with the future only hinted at.

It feels weird to say about a book with a murder mystery subplot but I love how cozy and low angst this series is! Highly rec if you've got Audible Plus.

Enjoyable listen. Cute romance. Not a lot of spice, but story around it is enjoyable so it wasn't missed.
