Again, the prose in this book is stunning. So much lovely poetry and creative writing. Rachel Gillig is a beautiful writer.

This was absolutely captivating. Had me on my toes the whole time and I didn’t want to put it down, especially once I got to the halfway mark. Loved being able to see the different perspectives in this and loved this series.

Love the world she’s created and the mysteries throughout the story. This book is a bit more violent and smutty than the last one but overall I still really enjoyed the read and world.
Rachel Gillig is definitely an author I’ll return to.

Gillig pulled of what many can't. An absolutely superb and fantastic second book. Many sequels end up falling flat, but that is not the case with Two Twisted Crowns.

This book brings together all the stories being told through One Dark Window. The story, the romances, the magic, is all so beautifully written. Not many sequels are better than the originals, but this, this one is. I can't recommend this duology enough and am so excited to see what is next from Gillig.

“The two were together, so the two were the same: The girl, the King, and the monster they became.”

Uggh... I don't even know what to say, I'm still reeling from this duology it was SO GOOD.

The Dr. Seuss for adults that like dark fantasy/romance vibes continues in this one. I did find this book a smidge darker than the first and the romance was a tad bit more steamy (although still mild in terms of spice). There are two plots running concurrently throughout this book that get closer together until they culminate in the last few chapters for a captivating final stretch and such an amazing ending. I didn't want to put this book down and felt all the emotions during this read. I want to read it again immediately just to experience that again.

10/10 flawless 😩🤌🏽
