Has a cool sad moment but I will probably forget this one. Sorry Twain. I really do love some of your other works

A short story packed with content, depth, and takeaway. You cannot ask for more. It has the right emotions and the simplicity of a dog’s. The story is gripping and the plot is simple but moving.

Que conto triste. ..confesso que me levou às lágrimas. .a inocência de seres tão puros como os animais e a brutalidade do homem. ..Como fiquei revoltado!

This story is so sad. What is more sad is that even if this is a story, there is plenty of animal abuse in the world.

Well-written story that steals into the reader's heart even in its brevity. Food for thought, certainly – treatment of animals, taking advantage of people (and beings) who know or understand less than you, learning without understanding, people who can make one feel inferior through their confidence despite not actually knowing much themselves. Arrogance. Not taking even a moment to consider the impact of one's actions. Viewing beings as inferior to oneself because they don't measure up to what are considered merits. Brings to mind issues of slavery, racism, feminism, classism, the subjugation of animals... the list goes on. A well-crafted story that makes you think.

Also, it brought me pretty close to tears. So, you know, prepare yourself.

It's not that I think this story is bad, I don't. I just hate animal abuse and will never give higher rating to such story.
