This took me too long to read. I don't know what it is about Rice's writing but I can only take it in small doses. That being said, I did enjoy this one more than Interview. Anne was really on one here; she lures you in with gay sex and then the rest of the book is a rant about how nobody understands what Jesus was all about. And honestly same.

Nobody; Ancient vampires: holding and kissing Armand like they’re in The kiss painting.

*I cried about Ivan. Ivan, of all people.

Not my favorite in the series. Decent enough but, couldn't really keep my attention.

This book was beyond boring and convinced me to stop reading Anne Rice. I base my star rating off of many attributes. It got 3 stars only because I respect her as an author and the writing style was still good. That's it.

Could've done with sliiiightly less religion in my vampire trash novels, but still overall very enjoyable.
