This has become one of my favorite books ever. This book tells an incredible story and also has the best kiss scene I have ever read.

I was momentarily impressed at the end when it seemed as if the authors made the bold choice of having the leads NOT be genetically compatible. I think it would have been a great statement about how soulmates are chosen, not born. But ten minutes later they Uno-reversed.
However, this book holds the dubious distinction of having a child character I didn't loathe. Props.
