I was really pleasantly surprised by "The Aliens' Mate" so I went back to pick up some more from the same author. I don't think "The Minotaur's Mate" quite reaches the same level of quality (the protag is a little annoying & the story gets kind of muddled & I feel like they didn't actually explore the love interest being a minotaur very much beyond him being kind of big & heavy)... but it's still got more heart & care put into it than the next 50 "weird erotica" Amazon ebooks combined, so if you're into this sort of thing at all I'd still say it's worth a read.

While I did enjoyed the story a lot, I was very annoyed by the human MC. He acted very childish most of the time, and I do get that he’s supposed to be very arrogant in the beginning, thinking he can save his people, but still the way that he talked and thought was very childish.
However, the couple still is cute and like I said, I did enjoy the story. It was definitely different to what I thought it would be.

Good, solid story and I enjoyed it!
Human MMC Nat was kind of unlikable at first but he comes around as the story progresses and he learns things that skew his attitude. I didn't care for some of the lack of communication at the beginning between Nat and minotaur MMC Asterius, but it did have a canon reason for it that's explained later so I was mostly placated.
The only other thing was that it felt like they hooked up a little too fast. It happens about half way through the story but in terms of in-story time, it's like two days and barely knowing each other. It also felt a little instalove as well since all the great quality traits they state they like about each other... well, it sounds nice but we the reader don't see it for ourselves on the page. A shortcoming of the length of the book. :/
In any case, I liked it and am totally going to go devour another one of these by Delaney Rain. Can't wait!

Too many time skips. Could have and should have been longer

I’ve previously read and enjoyed other books by this author, but this book lacked necessary world building and rationale for the quick emotional pívot made by Nat.
