Read this one right after The Cheat Sheet, thinking it was a sequel to Bree and Nathan's lives. While they were featured, they weren't the main characters. Instead, we got Nora and Derek. Their characters were fine and so was their relationship. I enjoyed her relationship with Nicole too. That's how women need to be for and with each other. And the men were just as great in this one as they were in the Cheat Sheet. The reason it only gets three stars instead of the five that the Cheat Sheet got is that everything was only ok. I enjoyed it well enough, but there was a whole lot less smiling on my part. I think I would probably have rated this higher if I hadn't immediately read The Cheat Sheet just before it and had nothing to compare it with.

I was surprised by how much I liked this book! It started off a little iffy because the friends immediately tried to get Derek married as though that was necessary for happiness, which bothered me, and Derek was actually really mean and annoying to Nora when they first started working together. But once Derek acknowledged he was being a jerk and acted normal again I loved this book. I loved how Nora pursued her dreams and stayed true to herself- her voice and motives are strong in this book. I also enjoyed seeing the progression of their relationship, how they recognized their love previous faults and also were more mature in the present day.

This book is absolutely amazing. It had me kicking my feet and squealing with joy . Bree and Derek are so easy to fall in love with and their relationship is absolutely to die for. The twists in this book are terrific and always at the best moments. This book is a sports romance which I absolutely love but this one is definitely one of my top 5. It's somehow better then the first one which I didn't think was possible. I absolutely wil  recommend it to everyone. Bree and Derek relationship will have you yelling and squealing an  begging for more when the book ends.

I think the narrators, Hathaway Lee and Will Damron, were both new to me, and I loved both their performances.
