4 stars all the way. Forgotten God by Francis Chan drew me closer to the Holy Spirit. I would highly recommend it to those who are struggling to live a Christ-focused life. The Lord used this book to help me greatly.

P.s. sorry for the short review. I’m currently traveling so I don’t have that much time to write a long review.

God bless,
Kaya :)

Trevor and I listened to this book together while driving the 11 hours to Philadelphia a few weeks back. While I suppose it counts as having read the book, I think I would absorb more of it if I held the book in my hands and re-read it. This is also a book I think could use to be absorbed, so hopefully I'll revisit it someday.

Well-written, but I think I was just looking for something a little more practical and less idealistic. The last chapter, "Supernatural Church" , was worth the read though.

I read this book in my efforts to plan a camp where the theme is the Holy Spirit. I think Chan does a great job of talking about our fear and neglect of the Spirit and how we can overcome these issues. I really enjoyed this book and I recommend it for anyone who is looking to truly experience the Holy Spirit's movement in their life.

A powerful reminder of how many churches have neglected the Holy Spirit, its consequences, and how much we (individually and collectively) desperately need the Spirit's presence in our lives.

First time actually reading Francis Chan and I really enjoyed this book. He writes with conviction and is challenging at times but never in a way that I felt judged without compassion. Definitely left me with things to think about.

Another very convicting book by Francis Chan. Here we read about the Holy Spirit as the "forgotten" part of the Holy Trinity. Chan's books are always quick and read very smoothly. I highly recommend this book as well as anything else by Chan.
