I was drawn to this novel because marketing had compared it to The Handmaid's Tale. It doesn't live up to that comparison, but it is still an excellent novel. Reminded me more of Children of Men. Not long, but intense, and I appreciated the detail and the presentation of the facts as they have been uncovered farther in the future.

Justification for war? No, I still don't think so, though made me think. (Bag book)

I was disappointed in this book. It felt, in the end, like a much longer novel that hadn't been completed.
