Wow, wow, wow! Ryan has done an absolutely AMAZING job writing this book. It’s been the best book I’ve read in a long time. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

It’s a good book but it didn’t review much of the answers
to the mysteries that it has

The book was much fun, but felt a bit rushed for the density of plot twists and revelations about connections between the characters (and the number of antagonists/potential antagonists).

I kept going back and forth on my opinion of this book while reading it. At many points it seemed like a Harry Potter clone (magical boy who grows up without a family goes to magic school, makes friends, and faces his dastardly nemesis, yadda yadda). But every time I was about ready to write it off as too derivative, Stealing From Wizards did something to surprise and delight me. It definitely stands on its own merits and made me want to read the second installment!
