I read another one of Rose's books. It was okay but this one is better. I enjoyed Dominic and Clara's relationship. Although apparently not that much because I just had to look up her name because I forgot it. Whoops. Their story was cute and followed the typical tropes. If you're looking for a typical billionaire book with no surprises, I would recommend this. It was easy and fun albeit a little long.

This was so good
Dom and Clara were childhood friends. In a will or something it said that Clara would have a backers in this resort Dom was building. Dom didn’t like that at all and was very exhausting. He wanted the bakery all black but she wanted it colourful but he refused. So one day she decided to paint a wall pink and while doing that a friend of hers told her that breathing in the paint was not good for the lupus she had. In that moment Dom came in and he found out about her sickness.
They went on a trip but she fainted and was brought to a hospital. Because of the lupus she had kidney failure and Dom didn’t even hesitate to get himself tested if he could be a donor. He was a match.
I loved Dom so much. He always sat in her bakery and ate her cupcakes even though he didn’t like sweets. He made her love in when he found out that her apartment was full of fungus. I loved how he told Clara to own it every time she wasn’t sure of something.
