I enjoyed the first half of this book, I think it had a really strong start but went downhill after that.
I like spicy scenes but there seemed to be more spice than anything else in the middle.

Then at the end there was a third act breakup due to miscommunication which I just found annoying and disappointing.

I also didn't understand the storyline with the MMC's ex, it was weird and confusing and didn't add anything to the plot.
The MMC called the FMC 'my future wife' consistently in almost every scene and I just found it cringe and tiresome after hearing several times.

It is in fact possible to write a cold, "bad-boy" mMC without making them act like a high-school bully...

A few quotes so that you may get a taste of what awaits you and if you could enjoy the book:
(they were picked not because they were the best examples but just because I did not want to read through the pages before again)

"
She needed the practice of dealing with bad reviews."
- so he helped with that by providing insults <3

“I’d like to take a look at which models and brands specifically. I have certain tastes when it comes to the tools I use every day.”
...
“Clara, I assure you we’ve ordered the best.” He crossed his large arms over his chest.
- he totally isn't looking down on her the entire time with this just being the shortest example of his show of respect towards the fMC

P.S. Respect is not something another human being should have to earn to be treated with but it is a privilege they may loose if proven to be undeserving.
