Mimasaki is the worst. And not in a love to hate him way. He's gross and gimicky. I didn't like him in the anime and I don't like him here. But Soma still manages to salvage the interactions between the two of them. I like it better when reframed as Soma competing against himself. And we get some good scenes with Erina too. But overall, I'm getting a little tired of the fall classics. These go on too long.
