Spun Out by Lorelei James is a sweet and sizzling hot romance that is an uplifting story of healing, new beginnings and love. Although this newest release is the tenth installment in the Blacktop Cowboys® series, it can be read as a standalone.

Bailey Masterson reluctantly returns to Wyoming while she figures out her future. Her military career is in flux and she is in the midst of determining what she wants to do next.  On the surface, Bailey appears relatively well-adjusted, but there is a sense that something serious is bubbling underneath the surface.  While she remains friendly and outgoing, she is rather tight-lipped about herself. Bailey is instantly attracted to Streeter and she has few reservations about indulging in a no strings fling with the hot, single father.

Shattered by the death of his wife years earlier, Streeter Hale is a devoted single dad to five year old Olivia. The years since his wife's death have not been easy, but Streeter has carved out a life that works for him and his daughter.  He does not date and he spends most of his time with his family.  Ready to make some much needed changes to his life, Streeter is stunned by his reaction to Bailey Masterson.

Olivia is a precocious little girl who is quite smart and she is an energetic bundle of energy.  She has a unique personality and she is a refreshingly non-perfect little girl.  Streeter's scenes with Olivia are heartwarming and quite humorous.

Bailey and Streeter are vibrantly developed, three-dimensional characters who are dealing with true to life, relatable issues.  Although their relationship has a shelf-life, Bailey is genuinely interested in Streeter and she is quick to convince him to talk about his past.  Streeter gains confidence in himself and eagerly explores his previously untapped sexual fantasies and desires. Their bedroom scenes are extremely hot and boundaries are pushed as they give in to their mutual passion.

Spun Out is a delightfully charming romance that also deals with some very serious subject matter.  The characters are quite endearing and wonderfully developed. Lorelei James perfectly balances the darker topics with humor and the resulting story has plenty of depth and substance. I absolutely loved and highly recommend this  very realistic addition to the Blacktop Cowboys® series.

@loreleijamesauthor does it again with another amazing western romance!

Streeter, hard working rancher and single dad raising a feisty little girl, meets Sergeant Bailey Masterson.

Bailey is home helping her big sis Harper at the split rock as she figures her life out after a medical leave from the military.

Who knew Bailey and Streeter could end up being what's best for each other!

I loved this story because it hit hard with real life issues. Life isn't always roses and rainbows but even in hard times we can find the positive side!

More please! I want more, this was a great addition to the series it was everything I remembered. I loved that we get some of our favorite characters back even for a short time.

I hope we get the MM story too.

This book I found emotional in parts that were not only sensitive subjects but parts I didn’t expect to get emotional I did. It has been a while since a book moved me like this one did.

Again I am just going to keep repeating…
Fantastic narration as always she can do a male voice like nobody’s business!

WHOA...this book was just wow! Steam factor of this bad boy would be sizzling! I had many moments I know my month was gaping wide open and drooling at the same time. I will never look at leather work gloves the same and I wear them all the time!

Bailey Masterson is returning to Wyoming from the army and to help her sister, as she is trying to figure out life after the army and help her sister with a new baby. I loved Bailey as the main lady she was fierce, funny, witty, and let the people around her be themselves.

Streeter Hale is wonderful in full cowboy mode with chaps and all. Yes, swoon and swoon some more! But is daughter Olivia, is a force to be wrecking with and I just fell in love with her! There is a lot going on with these two and emotions run high which is to be expected. Streeter learns to let his true self out and well it's just delightful to say the least!
Also, the epilogue is just a perfect way to end this book.

I have read other Lorelei James books but this is my first in the Blacktop Cowboy series and now I’m going to have to go back and read them all! I love her writing as its normal human behavior but she throws in some very real issues with all her characters and doesn't back away from the hard and ugly! The side characters aka the kids was also just laughing out loud moments with the room to the running away horse. Also the group of ladies, I need to go back because I’m guessing there is more to them! They are a hoot!
Lorelei James just became one of my one-click buys!

I give this book 4.5 for all the extra layers and writing them so perfectly!

Good book, with an important message, but not my favorite from Lolelei James. Still, I always admired how she can write such real characters. They are never perfect, but flawed human beings looking for love.
