So this was an audio on twice the speed and even then it took forever. As audiobooks go it seemed very long so I can only imagine what the written format seemed like. A couple of times I felt as though the book was ending as the couple Zoe and Ty were in a good place … but no another twist and it was drama drama drama. The book was definitely angsty and probably everything I expect in a rockstar romance but I have to say Zoe frustrated me a tad due to her inconsistency and her juvenile nature. It was juxtaposed from her supposedly being incredibly smart, driven and a legal powerhouse. Maybe it was the voices as some of the intonation was made to sound so whimsical and gentle where I thought she would have been a bit more forceful.

Thanks to Valentine PR for sending me this book to listen to. It was a great follow up to Carter’s prequel. Next?

I really enjoyed this book and was happy that it included the prequel novel Endless as I hadn’t read it before. This is a great rocker love story and it was something different from what I have read before. I thought the story had a great pace and I really fell in love with the characters. FYI some elements of the story may be triggering for some readers. I definitely recommend this book for romance readers who are looking for a little edge in their love stories!

I was sent a free book and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

Thank you to Kaylene Winter and Hidden Gems for my ARC!

I would rate this in the fan fiction type of books. Now keep in mind I haven't read the previous books and considering this I was still able to keep up however, the story had way to much conflicts that turned into huge blow ups. I feel like some healthy communication and anger management could have avoid most of the blow up. Both Ty and Zoey are a little immature and seriously lacking in communication skills. Ty has anger issue although he been through a lot I would have hope this would have been address in the original book. Not sure if these Issue are a continuation from book one.

Anyway if you love drama-filled fanfic with lots of irrational blow-up. This is for you.

This is an emotional, heart wrenching, beautiful, and spicy continuation of Ty and Zoey’s story. I absolutely love that we get deeper into their story, and that we get the “after” of their second chance. This book is a great story of love and healing and finding peace and accepting love from others, even when it’s hard. Ty’s history was never fully delved into during their main story. We knew he had a dark and difficult childhood, and that his mom’s addictions and struggles impacted him significantly, but here we get into the disturbing and devastating details, and we see the truly deep and invasive impact it has had on Ty and his life. Mental health is front and center in this story - not only recognizing the difficulties, but the support and dedication that is needed for the healing process, as well as the impact it has on loved ones. I thought the entire thing was handled beautifully, and Ty and Zoey had me with my heart in my throat for so much of this book. We’re also starting to get peeks into the other members of LTZ and what we have coming our way with their encores, which I can’t wait for.

Overall, this was an excellent story, a great next chapter for Ty and Zoey that showcases their love for each other, and the growth that they have done since those early days of young, first love. I just loved this book immensely.

Try and Zoey

Wow!!!!! I ugly cried while they battled his past and illness. This book teaches lots of lessons. Love with your whole heart. Listen to your partner not only their words but their actions. Be there for them and let them know that you are and that you are strong enough to handle whatever they are going through. Communication and trust are key. I very highly recommend this book and series.
