Intrigue and romance abound in this novel by Ms. St. Claire. This is my first novel by this author and I will be checking out more. I love the combination of genres. There was plenty of depth to the characters, and this is definitely a standalone, as I've not read any others in the series. We've got glimpses of other characters from SHN, so, I'm looking forward to learning more. Mason was my favorite character. I just love how he "treats" his mom!!!
