Beneath the Ziggurat was interesting. I don't normally like stories - even short ones - set that far in the past. However, something about the way it was written did immediately draw me in, and once the narrator started relating what had happened at the Ziggurat, I was extremely interested.
It is a bit Lovecraftian, and there's a scene that might make a weak-stomached person gag.
I liked it. David Dubrow did a good job of giving the reader a taste of horror in only a few pages.
